Hey! I love FireFox and use it to watch hulu and Netflix, however I was told recently that it’s not a great idea to use it very much because my security system is McAfee and is through AOL. My friend told me unless I have independant security software, FireFox is not that safe. Is that true?
Thanks!
Hello Forrester McLeod,
I hate to come across rude towards your friend but your friend doesn’t know what their talking about Firefox so far is the safest browser and much safer then IE, Here is Firefox’s security features –> http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/features/#security and here is a screen shot of their security chart compared against IE –> http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/2676/firefoxsecuirty.png
I almost forgot to mention Firefox won’t interfere with McAfee
It’s always best practice to have a independently security software in your computer Like McAffe Norton, Webroot
to fight off virus, Malware, and spyware,
Ah. I did’t click the links. Will take your word for it. You don’t sound rude towards my friend, you’re a lot more techno savvy than he is.
I did no know it was best to have independent security software…
Once again I thank You!!!
You’re welcome!!! anytime
