Evolver also has a Clone tool were you can upload a photo of your self and have a 3D avatar rendered from the photo so you can actually have a realistic 3D avatar that resembles you!

How To Download your 3d avatar to your computer

I thought I would explain how to download the avatar to your computer so yourwon’t spend as much time I did trying to figure it out.

First thing you will need to do is set up a free account before you proceed.

Okay now that you have that out of the way after you are done creating your 3D avatar you will need to click the transport button. [Screen shot reference below]

Okay now that you have done that you will need to name your avatar then you will be directed to the export page. You will need to click on the Social Media Networks tab. [screen shot reference below]

Next you will need to chose the “High resolution image, animated GIF or wallpaper of your avatar.” by clicking on the create now button. [screen shot reference below]

Update: Once the avatar is done rendering you will be redirected to the settings page  you will need to pick “White” as the background color if you want dark hair colors to show up on your avatar. [Screen shot reference below]

Once you’re done choosing your settings and background color you will need to click create again. Then you will be redirected to the download page after clicking the download button you be redirected to a page that shows just the avatar on the page you will need to right click and chose option “Save image as” a dialog window will appear this where you can rename the file name.

Now that you have the avatar saved to your computer you can start uploading the image to your various profiles!!!

Okay the virtual reality element keeps developing and soon EVERYTHING will be online–and gee, what will we do with the concrete contexts we ’sit’ in?

Avatars…mm. Your current image reminds of ‘Scream’ flick–a tad disconcerting the first time I saw it. LOL.
    for now

      Hello 47whitebuff,

Scream character ? I haven’t had that south park avatar up on the site for at least a week now when you loaded the site in your browser either Gravatar reverted back to the old avatar or your browser was seeing a cached version of the site.

well, NOW I’ve got nothing to add to the image element—But I’m digging the music that just started when I entered you site. LOL–what’s NEXT? Dancing guys/girls? Penguins on parade? OH you are gifted! Grins.

Lol that would be cool to have dancing penguins on the site sync to the music. Here is documentation about the SoundCloud Audio Player

Glad you’ve done the homework, it’s saving me daaays of head scratching : D

ah….again i didn’t know that. All done now! It’s a shame we can’t smile in them isn’t it? like the old passport photo rule. I expect it will change like that did too. I’m off now to read through all your other stuff. thanks again!

You’re welcome for the Gravatar Tip I also updated the post to include in the tutorial where to find the background color pallet.

It does suck that we can’t smile but the software has to have a accurate measure of the lips so I don’t see this rule changing anytime soon like it did for the passports.
